ABA Services β Overview & How to Refer
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children and young people, delivered in the home, the school, the community and by telehealth β by Board Certified Behavior Analysts and the technicians they supervise.
What we provide
| Service | What it means for your child |
|---|---|
| Behavior assessment (97151) | A board-certified analyst evaluates your child and writes an individualized treatment plan with you β in your language, in your home or our office. |
| One-to-one treatment (97153) | A trained, credentialed technician works directly with your child on the plan's goals, with data taken every session. |
| Ongoing analyst direction (97155) | The analyst adjusts the program as your child progresses β every change is documented and explained. |
| Family guidance (97156/97157) | You learn the strategies that work, so progress lives at home β not just in sessions. |
| Group treatment (97154/97158) | Skills practiced with peers when the plan calls for it. |
How services work
- A physician’s order and an insurance authorization come first β we handle the paperwork and verify your benefits at no cost.
- The assessment is completed within 30 days; services follow an authorized, individualized plan reviewed with you.
- Services available in English and Spanish; interpreter access for other languages at no cost to you.
- Home, school (with district agreement), office, community and telehealth settings β you choose which settings you consent to.

Your right to services in your language
- You have the right to receive services, explanations and key documents in the language you understand best β at no cost to you, ever.
- Our clinical and office team serves families in English and Spanish. For other languages, we arrange qualified interpretation β also at no cost.
- Assessments, treatment plan reviews, consents and family training are conducted in your language. The language used is recorded on the session documentation.
- We will never ask your child β or any minor β to interpret clinical, legal or financial information. A family member may assist informally only if you prefer it and a qualified option was offered first.
- Family-facing forms exist in English and Spanish. If you need another language or a different format (large print, read aloud), tell us and we will arrange it.
How to ask: tell anyone on the team, call (786) 652-6945, or write to info@americaninstituteofmentalhealth.com. Asking for an interpreter never delays or affects your services.
