For families

You do not have to understand all of this today.

Most families arrive here with a diagnosis they were handed a week ago and a word they have never used. Start wherever you are. Nothing below asks you for a commitment.

Start with: what is ABA? Check your insurance

The path, in the order families actually walk it.

  1. What is ABA?

What the therapy actually is, in plain words, and what it is not.

  2. Getting started

The documents you will be asked for, and how to get the ones you are missing.

  3. The insurance guide

Medicaid, commercial plans, authorizations, and what "covered" really means.

  4. The first assessment

What happens in the room, how long it takes, and what you get afterwards.

  5. What to expect

The first weeks of therapy, costs, and the questions families ask us most.

  6. Your part in it

Caregiver training: the hours that matter most are the ones we are not there.

What we will not do.

  • We will not pressure you.The benefits check is free and ends whenever you want it to. Nobody calls you back three times.
  • We will not promise you an outcome.Anyone who tells you how far your child will go, before assessing your child, is selling you something.
  • We will not hide the cost.If your plan does not cover something, you hear it from us before it reaches a bill.
  • We will not publish your child. No photographs of the children or families we serve, ever. The images on this site are created digitally and say so.
